Changing the world starts with organizing, and organizing starts with one-on-one conversations that form the foundation of the strong, public relationships where power is built for our organizations and our movement. In these conversations we work to identify self-interest, use that as the basis for a call to action, and engage people in the meaningful work of changing their lives and the world for the better. In this participatory workshop, we will explore techniques that you can take back home and use to build or strengthen your base.

Learn the fundamentals behind the US military budget and dive into the ways that these costs feed our global system of runaway inequality and the oppression of people. We'll explore data to develop a full understanding of how the dots are connected, and then discuss an action plan to fight back.
