Our criminal justice system is broken. Over the past four decades the prison population in this country has quadrupled, and our systems of bail, parole, and trial have been used to keep individuals from reclaiming their dignity and rebuilding their lives. This workshop will explore the various issues under the criminal justice umbrella and discuss what must be done to create a more fair and equitable system.
