New York has one of the lowest voter turnout rates in the county. Educating and inspiring our communities to participate in elections continues to be one of the greatest challenges to changing the face of elected power in our state. In this workshop we will explore training games used to initiate conversations regarding the history of the vote and voter turnout in NY. We will also brainstorm new ways to overcome obstacles we face in the field while engaging potential voters. This will be an opportunity for participants to explore new tools and to share best practices with fellow activists from across the state.
