This workshop will look at the great battles of the 1930s, including the general strikes, the organizing drives, the Unemployed Leagues. We'll discuss the role of African American workers in the struggle and the challenges of building an united labor movement. Participants will view pictures and film of the actual struggles and discuss how history relates to today's struggles.
